The Partners of San Diego Social Venture Partners (SDSVP) pool their their time, expertise and and resources to support local non-profits in the San Diego community.

We work hard to evaluate worthy non-profits, usually targeting a specific area of focus each year.  After careful deliberation and investigation, we select two or more non-profits (we call them Investees).

We donate usually about $100,000 in cash and 3 to 6 times that in in-kind services to each Investee over three years.

We also spend many hundreds of volunteer hours working with each of these investees, helping them become better organizations by lending support in the areas of financial management, board development, fund raising efforts, strategic planning, improving technology and marketing and public relations plus coaching and mentoring in a multitude of areas.

We focus on measurable outcomes, investing in organizations that are achieving specific improvements in their clients’ lives and providing innovative and long-term solutions to community problems. Social Venture Partners assists organizations to understand and produce these desired client and community outcomes rather than supporting particular programs or activities.

Our goal is to work each organization and help them achieve their goals in the community.
